Edinburgh Area
Salvation Army Trading Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Salvation Army with a growing portfolio of 132 shops in England & Scotland, and an ambitious expansion programme.
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager with a background in Charity or fashion retail to manage our shops.
To meet the challenges of this important role you will need to demonstrate commercial awareness, a strong personality and an ability to get the best out of your Managers.
As an effective individual you will be able to lead by example while challenging yourself and your shops to retain a competitive edge to ensure on going success.
Responsible for recruitment, training, sales performance, merchandising and area administration, you will be multi-skilled and proficient in all these disciplines.
It is essential that applicants also have a full driving license.
In return for all of this you will receive a salary of £25k - £30k depending on experience and area + car + expenses + pension + performance related Bonus + 28 days annual holiday inc bank/public holidays (rising after qualifying years).
